Mr. Williams recently retired as the Deputy Commissioner of the Federal Technology Service (FTS) of GSA. In this capacity, he managed an FTS information technology and telecommunications organization that provides more than $8 billion in products and services to the federal government annually. In his position as Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Williams directed a staff of 1,500 in Washington and the 11 regional offices. Prior to joining FTS, Mr. Williams served as the Deputy Regional Administrator in several GSA Regions including, the National Capital Region, the Mid-Atlantic Region, and the Greater Southwest Region. As Deputy Regional Administrator, Mr. Williams was responsible for GSA real estate and procurement related activities in these regions. During his 32 years of service he received a number of awards, including The Presidential Rank Award of Meritorious Executive. Mr. Williams assists GPM clients with technology and telecommunications matters, as well as issues that involve the various GSA Regions.
